Taking the leap...

Well, I finally did it. I finally created my personal portfolio/website to share with the world.

It's a scary thing to do, especially for those of us who lean towards trying to make things 'perfect' and can always think of how something can be done better, or even just differently (see: definition of all creative types).

It's been five years since I completed my graphic design certificate. I have loved working with friends (old and new) and family to help them understand their brand and create original logos, promotional flyers, T-shirt designs, educational posters, and even spending almost two years as a volunteer leading the branding and marketing of a national event.

Till now, I have been connecting with people and projects by word-of-mouth reference and only sharing a few pictures here and there on my personal social media. I have been thinking of 'making it official' for a few years now, but the fear of not being perfect always held me back. As my decades-long career in Highland Dance taught me, sometimes you just have to take the leap. To think, all it took was for me to book a week-long stay-cation during the middle of a pandemic ;)

I hope you enjoy checking out my portfolio, and reading through my blog posts where I will delve deeper into sharing more about my personal design style and other examples of amazing (graphic) design.
